Our Commitment to Privacy

The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this website. Browsing our site does not require you to give us any information at all. Only when you request something will you be asked for things such as your name or email address. For instance, if you want to make a special order request or ask us a question before you purchase a product we can be contacted at support@godardscrib.com. We will answer your email within 24 hours. If you want to make a comment about the site you are not required to but encouraged to leave your email so we can address your concerns first hand.

If you place an order online, we will gather the following information, all of this information is required to process your order and ensure that we will contact you if there is any problem.

None of your contact information gathered from the order form or any other area of our site will ever be sold or given to 3rd parties. It will be kept in our database for the sole purpose of simplifying future orders.

Information Collection and Use:

Duchess Industries, LLC is committed to providing a safe secure shopping experience.  The information we gather on our Web site is used to process your order efficiently and effectively, and to determine the products and services that will be of most value to you.  For orders, we need to know your name, e-mail address, mailing address, credit card number and expiration date.  This allows us to process and fill your order and to notify you of your order status.  Duchess Industries, LLC  does not maintain individual credit card information on its Internet Server.

 TIP:

 In the future, when you evaluate a company's website, check to see what their privacy policy is...or if they even have one! It's one small indicator of the integrity of a company. And for your safety, only place credit card orders on sites that use secure servers to process the transaction.

 SECURITY:

We at Duchess Industries, LLC understand your concerns regarding the security of using your credit cards to purchase products through the internet. All of our credit card transactions are processed through the Paypal system, the world’s leading on-line credit card processor.  Our shopping cart system and our connection with the Homestead (owned by Intuit) system use the latest secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology to protect all sensitive information.

When you enter your credit card information, the secure server will be connected.  The "Padlock" (Bottom of screen on task bar) showing that the connection is secure will appear.

RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION 

Despite all precautions, claims do arise. Duchess Industries, LLC’s adjustment and return policy is truly very simple. We want to protect you and make you feel comfortable - and make certain you get what you pay for. We have established some requirements to make our policies and programs workable.

Any problems with an order must be reported within 72 hours of receipt.

To obtain Duchess Industries, LLC's authorization to return a defective item for credit or replacement, simply email our Customer Service at support@godardscrib.com. Non-defective merchandise returns will incur a 25% restocking fee, and must also be returned within 14 days of purchase. Product boxes and/or items that have been written on or otherwise marked will not be considered for credit or replacement. Shipping fees to customer are non-refundable. Return shipping fees are non-refundable. We do not issue call tags.

CONDITIONS
Non-defective merchandise must meet the following conditions to qualify for return acceptance.

• Merchandise must be in its original minimum inner pack quantity, as shipped.

• Broken quantity inner packs are not returnable.

• Sample items and other items are not returnable.* 

• Merchandise, merchandise packaging, and inner pack must bear no markings or be otherwise defaced or damaged.

Returns that do not meet the conditions described in this return policy will be returned and shipping cost of return will be charged. If an order is returned as "customer refused", return shipping fees will be charged against refund amount. *All shipping fees are considered a used service and are non-refundable.

RETURN EXCLUSIONS: *ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Some items are non-returnable such as catalogs, brochures, cd's, supplies, kits, business kits, clearance items, Costumes, special ordered and custom stock items. Body Jewelry, Intimate Apparel and Personal Intimate items are non-returnable unless unopened and still in sealed, manufacturers package.

ITEMS WITH GUARANTEES OR WARRANTIES
If a purchased item includes a product guarantee or warranty follow the instructions on the guarantee or warranty for repair or replacement.

ITEMS DAMAGED DURING SHIPMENT
The shipper covers all merchandise damaged during shipment. If you receive merchandise damaged during shipping, please contact our Customer Service department within 10 days of the date of shipment of your order, and your claim will be processed immediately. NOTE: Established procedures by UPS, U.S.Parcel Post, DHL, FedEX and trucking lines, must be complied with or they may deny your claim. If replacement for a damaged item is not possible, a store credit will be applied to your account. No cash refunds will be given for damaged, defective or missing items.
